Aptly named The Lounge and located on the first floor of the Dubai Festival City store, the restaurant provides a secluded haven away from the hustle and bustle to relax and enjoy traditionally home cooked dishes.

The Lounge's international menu comprises of a variety of tasty and healthy meal ideas suitable for any time of the day and made with the freshest ingredients and certain organic produce.

Diners can chose from a variety of light and nutritious snacks including wraps, sandwiches, jacket potatoes, soups and salads. Dishes such as the chicken satay wrap or the oriental beef salad served on a bed of mixed leaves with a cucumber and sweet chilli dressing provide an international flavour. The menu offers more substantial main course dishes such as the all-time favourite Fisherman's pie.

Breakfast options include freshly squeezed juices, blueberry and ricotta pancakes served with maple syrup and natural yoghurt or cinnamon French toast with caramelised bananas. The scrumptious dessert trolley boasts a vast selection of delicious cakes from mouth watering lemon cheesecake to good old fashioned rich chocolate cake. These are the perfect accompaniment to an afternoon cup of tea or coffee.

The Lounge's special children's menu has been designed with most children's requests in mind and includes traditional favourites such as boiled egg and soldiers and fish fingers with potato wedges. All children's meals are served with a choice of soft drinks.

Award winning New York based interior designer Yabu Pushelberg provided the concept for the restaurant, introducing calm, muted colour schemes warmed by the intimate ambient lighting scheme. Key features include two hand-made large floor to ceiling canvases depicting soft floral patterns and a gigantic elegant installation that showers centrally from the ceiling in the form of a modern chandelier.

Diners can choose either al fresco dining on the balcony or enjoy the tranquil interior reminiscent of a colonial style tea house. Furnished with plush sofas and cushioned rattan chairs, comfort and relaxation is a key theme throughout the stylish restaurant.
